February 7, 2018 marks the 44th anniversary of the Shiawassee Community Foundation. Originally named the Shiawassee Foundation, SCF started in 1974 with $5 and a vision to “contribute to the well-being of the residents” of Shiawassee County.
Since that time, the Foundation has awarded $2.6 million in grants and scholarships to programs and students in the Shiawassee County area.
