What We Do

The community foundation administers over 100 unique scholarship and grant funds.  Each fund has its own purpose determined by the original founder when the fund is first established.  Scholarship and grant amounts vary from year to year.  There are several variables that the community foundation must consider when determining how much to spend annually.  The community foundation must preserve the principal balance of each endowment fund in perpetuity while at the same time generate enough investment income to award grants and scholarships.
